Dukkah Spiced Lamb Burgers

Try this delicious spicy twist on a traditional burger.

600g minced lamb

2 cloves garlic, finely chopped

1 small onion, finely chopped

2 tbsp dukkah

Olive oil, for brushing

4 Turkish rolls, cut in half

4 tbsp hommous

4 cos lettuce leaves

8 slices tomato

Small handful mint leaves


Mix the lamb with the garlic, onion, dukkah, salt and pepper and form into flat 4 patties.

Preheat a BBQ over a medium high heat. Lightly brush the patties with oil and cook for 3-4 minutes on each side or until cooked to your liking. Set aside and warm the halved rolls on the grill until lightly coloured.

Place the hummus on the bread rolls and top with the lamb patties. Add lettuce, tomato and mint leaves and serve.
